I feel like Bogans would have been a perfect fit a few years ago when the Celtics were in need of more players with fire,or ready for a 'bar fight' kind of moments. Bogans has come on strong already, and it was hard to ignore what he was saying during Monday's press conference, and during his interview with Celtics.com.
Keith gets the NBA, and he gets his skill set and what he's able to bring to a team. He knows he's not a star, and he doesn't want to try to be one. He's a team guy, and he sounds like he will help Rondo along his journey. His contract had to be (5 million per yer) for the Pierce thing to work in this deal, and it helped the Celtics earn the $10.3 million trade exception in the big trade. All that aside, he played ball at Kentucky, and that could be a good thing for the fact that Rondo played there as well, and they connect because they have something in common.
Another thing about Keith is his nonsense approach of this tanking B.S that many fans, and some media guys(Bill Simmons) hope for. This team has a chip on their shoulder. I don't see banner 18, but I see something special in year one of the chase of getting back on track for banner 18.
