The 6-6 Celtics haven't jumped out of the gates, and I think you can blame a lot of Celtics for that. Can you blame Rondo? I don't think so, maybe on the defensive end at times. I honestly don't think you can pin point the blame on one player. But their are many players who are under performing. It should be no surprise to some that Green has been under performing. I felt like he was going to be a guy that came in every game, and put up 12 points, and around 4-6 rebounds per game. So far he's at 7.9 points a game, and 2.9 rebounds a contest.
Jeff is forcing right now. He's taking shots that don't come natural, or look easy. He's truly one of the unique players on the Celtics, but he seems to shy away from being aggressive. We've seen Jeff with amazing dunks this season, and some crafty inside moves, and hook shots. But what's it going to take for Jeff to become that player Boston needs to win a title. He plays 21.8 minutes a game, and I wonder is that enough. Is Jeff really apart of what Doc is doing? Were only 12 games into the season. But I feel like this is what were going to get from Green. I say if we do get this out of Green. Than were screwed, and we need to deal him to a team that can actually use him. With Terry in the starting lineup now. Green has assumed the role of 6th man.
I think it's not to late for Green, and I really hate to jump ship. I feel like it's partially Doc, and Green. If the Celtics need to get someone going. It needs to be the 9 million a year Green.
