The Big Three Trade rumors

Hoops Hype

The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers have been discussing a deal to trade forward Kevin Garnett for guard Eric Bledsoe and center DeAndre Jordan, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. There are differing factions within the Celtics and Clippers on the prudence of the deal, but the two teams have been in regular contact about the possibility, sources said. Yahoo! Sports

Nevertheless, the biggest hurdle could ultimately center on Garnett's willingness to waive his no-trade clause and accept a deal to the Clippers. Because of his home in Malibu, and a close relationship with Clippers guard Chauncey Billups, there's hope that Garnett, a 15-time All-Star, could be coaxed into accepting a trade if an agreement is reached, sources said. Yahoo! Sports

The Clippers had expressed reluctance to several teams about parting with Bledsoe until they were certain that Chris Paul would re-sign this summer to a long-term deal, sources said. The organization has become increasingly confident that Paul will stay, but every franchise decision is made within the context of how it will impact Paul, and how he feels about it. Yahoo! Sports

Sources speculated if Garnett were to agree to a trade, the Celtics would then aggressively attempt to move Pierce before Thursday’s trading deadline. Garnett is in his 18th season and averaging 15.1 points on 50-percent shooting and 7.7 rebounds. He said earlier this week Sunday’s All-Star Game in Houston will be his last. Garnett will start for the Eastern Conference. FOXSports Ohio

From all indications the Celtics are looking to win this season with what they have, and with added players through free agency to help replace the loss of Rondo, Barbosa, and Sully. It's All-Star weekend, and it really kicks off the trade rumors. General Managers are at work. Searching for the next trade to bolster their teams. I have no idea what to make of all of this. The Celtics won't trade either Pierce, or KG. I can't guarantee Rondo though.

This trade is terrible I think DeAndre Jordan is good but he wouldn't be good with us because of his poor free throw shooting. I know Doc wouldn't play him down the stretch and aside from his dunks he doesn't really bring too much else on the offensive end . I still think we should go after josh smith and try to package lee and bass because I feel if we get smith he'd resign at the end of the season.

Rondo will be around. I'm sure it was the Lakers who wanted to unload Howard for Rondo.

This time, I am legitimately worried Ainge will detonate everything. I don't want to see Pierce or Garnett retire anywhere else than Boston. However, J-Smoove really intrigues me. I'd have to consider the rumored Bass/Green for Smith trade really hard.

I doubt Kg gets traded and I don't think anybody is gonna trade for rondo. Nobody wanted him before his tore his acl so i doubt anybody would be willing to trade something we'd like for rondo now that he tore his acl. I also doubt we'll trade pierce because we wouldn't get anything back and i think paul only makes like 6-7 mil next yr so he wouldn't be hurting us on the cap.
