A Year In Pictures: Staring Rondo

This photo was from Rondo's Facebook page Sunday."Great to partner today with #blessingsinabackpack giving away
food and school supplies" the page said. After I looked at the photo, and what it was about, I scrolled down through the page. I ended up at last summer. Last summer was Rondo's. He was the best player on the Celtics, and he was having a very active summer with his teammates, and with building his brand. This summer is the opposite. He's rehabbing from his first major injury and surgery. Rondo's leadership a year ago was looked at differently, even though some folks were still on the fence about him. The Celtics nearly reached the NBA Finals for a third time since 2008.

Rondo's summer hasn't been all about rehab. He's made guest appearances on various shows, and he was playing chess at his basketball camp.

My favorite is the algebra picture. That one is art!

Last summer seems so long ago. There were just as many questions then, but they were hidden by high hopes. Now it's hard to remember that we once felt so hopeful.

So true, I love the same pic, along with the Santa.
